Dawson heads back home to Purdue-Northwest

A two-year starter at catcher for LTC, Derrick has committed to continue his career at Purdue-Northwest.   The power hitting catcher combines to catch in 53 games over his two years at the Trail.  Last season Dawson hit .265 with 5 doubles and 17 RBI while smashing 6 homeruns.   Derrick will be heading back close to home as PNW is a NCAA D2 school in nearby Hammond, IN.
