Reflecting on his performance, Sanches remarked, "Not being committed didn't cause me much pressure during season because I knew there were universities watching our games, so I tried to do my best in each game to look for what was best for me in the future." "Well, what made me choose was several factors, one of them is that the project they have for soccer is very good, I received a very good attention, and the way they treated me from the beginning was incredible too," Sanches explained. Sanches mentioned his time at Lincoln Trail and how it gave him a huge opportunity. "Lincoln Trail helped me by giving me some tips to improve my performance on the field. They also gave me the opportunity to come to the United States."
