Women's Soccer Player Logan Webster Commits to Eureka College

Lincoln Trail College proudly announces that Logan Webster has committed to continue her athletic and academic pursuits at Eureka College following her graduation.

Her commitment at Lincoln Trail has not only led to personal growth but has also been impacted by the entire soccer program at Lincoln Trail.

Reflecting on her journey, Webster expressed gratitude for the support she received at Lincoln Trail. "Honesty, Lincoln Trail made me a stronger player. Playing with girls who have so much grit and drive was a huge factor in me becoming a better player. Lincoln Trail gave me the opportunity to keep doing what I love and gave me the chance to meet so many different people. Having coaches and people who support your dreams and believe in you make a huge difference on and off the field. I am so grateful to have all of that here."

Webster's determination and passion for the sport have been evident throughout her collegiate career. She shared her thoughts on the recruiting process, stating, "I would say that I always had faith in myself to get recruited for the next level, but I wouldn't say it caused pressure to perform a certain way. When I played in games, my only thought was always to play for myself and the teammates around me."

Webster also highlighted the role that Coach Reece Scragg played in her decision to join Eureka College. "The coach at Eureka College helped me make my decision. I saw his passion immediately. He showed me all the things he wanted to accomplish and just how he was going to do so. He made me believe in the program and the school. Thank you to Coach Reece Scragg for this opportunity to play for the next 2 years."

As a Statesmen, Logan started 20 games out of 25 appeared in and ended with one goal.

Her advice to any upcoming Statesmen is "Dreams do come true, no matter how big or how small. As long as you work hard and give it your all, you really can accomplish anything. Believe you can and you're already halfway there."

As Logan Webster transitions to the next chapter of her academic and athletic journey, Lincoln Trail College wishes her continued success and looks forward to following her achievements at Eureka College.
