Jaylee Hayes Commits to University of Northwestern Ohio for Volleyball

Jaylee Hayes, a standout volleyball player, has officially committed to the University of Northwestern Ohio (UNOH) to further her athletic and academic pursuits.

Coach Dana Goodwin, who has been a guiding force in Jaylee's volleyball journey, expressed her confidence in Jaylee's potential. "From the moment Jaylee first came to Lincoln Trail, I knew she would go on to do big things. She brings so much power and energy to the game and is a true leader on the court. I am very excited for her and eager to see the impact she makes at UNOH."

Jaylee, in turn, spoke highly of Coach Goodwin and the supportive community that has shaped her at LT. "Dana has done multiple things to help me excel in and off the court. She has always been there for me any time I've needed something, and I know she does for the other girls as well. I'm so thankful for the people here and to be surrounded by such a good community."

Juggling athletic commitments and the weight of an important decision, Jaylee reflects, "It was definitely stressful at times, but I knew one way or another everything would turn out the way it was supposed to."

Expressing her love for the University of Northwestern Ohio, Jaylee emphasized the welcoming atmosphere and the sense of belonging she experienced. "I love UNOH because everyone is so welcoming and truly made me feel like I was at home. The coaches/players are awesome and were a huge factor in my decision as well."

Jaylee's piece of advice for futre Statesmen was "If something stands between you and your success, move it."
