Lady Statesmen Beat Lewis and Clark

The Lincoln Trail College Lady Statesmen had a huge 3-1 victory on Sunday against Lewis and Clark. Bouncing back after a loss against ICC, the women faced a tough opponent in Lewis and Clark. The first half was agitated due the numbers of chance of both teams. For our side Kearsty Neilson almost scored, and on the defensive side McKenzie Love saved a ball on the line. In the second half, the game got some movements quickly. With 1:58 on the clock Nielson opened her account for the team, and two more times in 54:00 minutes and 79:00 minutes completing 9 goals in the season so far. Trinity Arroyo and Guadalupe Amincone assisted Neilson in two of the three goals. Now, the Lady Statesmen to face Wabash Valley College on September 17th.
