The defense, led by sophomore #8 Leticia Guimaraes, allowed no further goals and were able to put the game to rest.

It's never easy to go on the road and win, but the Lady Statesmen were able to get the job done and improve their record to 3-1 on the season. The Lady Statesmen return to action at home on September 9th against regional rival, Lewis & Clark Community College.
