Hillsboro, MO - The Lady Statesmen were back in action on the road, as they travelled to Missouri to face Jefferson College on Sunday afternoon. The Lady Statesmen were on the attack for most of the first half, applying pressure on the Lady Vikings, but the opponent was able to withhold the pressure and did not concede any goals in the first half. The Lady Vikings also had some scoring opportunities on the counterattack in the first half, but the Lady Statesmen were also able to withstand their opponent's pressure and did not concede. Both teams looked to be evenly matched in the first half, and the second half would prove no different. Both sides battled it out, with each side looking for the one goal which could have been the decider in the match, but they were both unable to find the net and the match ended in a scoreless draw.

The Lady Statesmen are now 6-6-2 on the season and will travel on the road to face Heartland Community College on October 17, 2023.
